White Plains, NY -- (ReleaseWire) -- 10/23/2017 -- APD and Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) has launched a novel program called Nudidante Nade. This program is under the Smart Swaccha Mangaluru project initiative by Anti-Pollution Drive (APD) Foundation and is focused on a set of targeted campaigns, workshops and training sessions to help achieve segregation at source (at generator level).

Nudidante Nade is inspired from the popular idiom 'Practice What You Preach' and is a first of its kind initiative to address the high stake problem of waste segregation.

This program will be an additional step taken by the APD Foundation apart from the on-going city wide IEC campaign along with Antony Waste Handling Cell Pvt Ltd.

It is important that Government offices & public buildings first adopt waste segregation within the building premises so that it encourages the people to follow. This initiative by the Government & Public buildings will inspire citizens and will set the government organization as a role model for the citizens. This will be a major step towards taking a step forward in terms of sanitation, cleanliness & environmental conservation.

These programs will be jointly conducted by the APD team along with 25 students of St. Aloysius College who are interning with APDF under the mentorship of Rayan D Souza. In this program the team will reach out to 15 Government buildings to conduct various activities such as workshop, video presentation, submitting toolkit, will fix an informative hoarding and will also have a photo booth.
