Now Seeking Community Support via Indiegogo to install a State-Of-The-Art Security System to Ensure the Ongoing Protection Rhinos.
Johannesburg, Gauteng -- (ReleaseWire) -- 06/20/2018 -- Buffalo Dream Ranch (BDR) is the world's largest Private Captive Rhino Breeding Project, hidden away in the North West Province of South Africa. BDR was founded and funded entirely by one passionate, humble and dedicated man, John Hume. John, now 76, has bred more than 1,279 rhinos in his lifetime, and after personally investing US$100 million into this cause, he has reached the end of his financial wherewithal to continue.
BDR has recently had to give notice to the private army of foot soldiers who currently protect their rhinos, as they can no longer afford their services. Without the urgent installation of an alternate electronic security solution to replace this army, their rhino will be left to the mercy of poachers, which will result in an inevitable blood bath. In order to prevent this inevitability, they need the support of a very generous public.
BDR are thus urgently seeking support of their Indiegogo campaign to protect these endangered rhinos. They currently care for, breed and protect 1626 rhinos, with over 300 dams (females) being pregnant right now and due to give birth in the next 18 months. This is close to 10% of the world's remaining rhinos! Their mission is to "Breed Better and Protect Better" and hope this financial year to eventually meet their breeding target of 200 calves per annum. However, this outstanding achievement can only be continued with your generous contributions.
"BDR serves as a rhino conservation project of significant importance, holding the widest gene pool of rhino left on earth. We are making a great contribution towards preventing the extinction of these amazing animals, and would welcome your generous support of our campaign on Indiegogo so that we can continue this great work", said the spokesperson of this project, whilst introducing it to the Indiegogo community.
The goal of BDR's campaign is to raise the sum of $3,300,000, which will all go towards the installation of an innovative and state-of-the-art, early-warning security system to ensure the ongoing protection of their rhinos. In addition to rhino security and protection, the project also breeds rhinos, cares for rhino orphans, provides veterinary care for sick and wounded rhinos, as well as conducting vital research into various aspects including rhino gestation.
Please support BDR through their Indiegogo Campaign which is located on the web at: www.indiegogo.com/projects/help-protect-rhinos-from-poachers-security-community. Supporters from around the world can make contributions.
An alternative avenue through which the public can provide direct support to BDR, with more of an investment angle as opposed to pure donation, is through trade in Rhino Coin. This is an innovative new Crypto-Conservation initiative that issues 1 Rhino Coin for every 1g of ethically sourced blood-free horn secured in vaults in South Africa. See https://www.rhinocoin.com/ for more details. A Rhino Coin Foundation has been established to ensure proceeds go directly back to rhino conservation projects like BDR's. Rhino Coin is currently tradable with ZAR, Bitcoin and Etherium can be traded on the https://www.cornuex.com/ exchange. Every coin traded on the exchange delivers direct benefits to BDR, so please get registered and start trading today. Each time you trade you will be making an immediate and tangible difference to real rhinos on the ground in Africa.
